War in Syria inevitable

01.12.2011

The situation in Syria and around it is becoming increasingly volatile. Following the sanctions imposed by the U.S., EU, Turkey and the League of Arab States (LAS), the armed detachments of mercenaries from Libya have been put to use. The troops of the former Libyan rebels are ready to join the armed rebels of the "Free Syrian Army."

On November 29 Arabic website "Al-Rai Al-Arabi" reported that some 600 Libyan volunteers, who want to participate in the overthrow of President Bashar al-Assad, came to Syria through Turkey. The site indicated a representative of the current leadership of Libya as its source. Strictly speaking, this can hardly be surprising. The current Transitional National Council (TNC) first recognized the Syrian National Council as "the sole legitimate representative" of the Syrian people.

The "Free Syrian Army" in some way is a clone of the Libyan rebels. It was formed in the border areas with Turkey by the Syrian army defectors. They had frequent clashes with the government forces. Last week, they attacked the buildings of the Air Force of the Syrian Intelligence but were unable to seize them. According to some reports, Turkey and Libya have already had a series of talks on the supply of Syrian rebels and volunteers with arms. Now it seems that the first "well-wishers" from Libya have arrived.
The emergence of volunteers alone says that the force scenario of overthrowing the current leadership of Syria is quite likely. How the events in the country will develop? A military expert and director of the Center for Military Forecasting Anatoly Tsyganok talked about it in an interview with "Pravda.Ru".

"The first possible scenario is that the army will restore order as it happened in Egypt. Who, indeed, the Syrian government would negotiate with? It will not negotiate with the so-called Transitional Council sitting in Istanbul. Incidentally, in Syria nearly fifteen hundred policemen were killed in clashes with al-Assad opposition. Why does the West not mention this?

The second scenario is that of force. Either Saudi Arabia or NATO would inflict blows at Syria. If this happens, most likely, it will be Saudi Arabia.

For Turkey that seems to be at the vanguard of the opponents of Assad the force scenario is not advantageous. If it happens, its territory will be flooded by thousands of refugees, including ethnic Kurds who could destabilize the situation in Turkey. There is also Israel that fought with Syria four times. Today, however, there is peace in the disputed Golan Heights. For Israel the most important thing is the absence of threats. For example, the weapon from the war-torn Libya quickly reached the Gaza Strip. Israel does not need this war.

The third scenario assumes interference of Iran with which Bashar al-Assad signed a treaty of mutual assistance in 2009. Units of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) can be transferred to Syria. If Iran loses Syria, the probability of attack at Iran by NATO would drastically increase.

In addition, in the event of the forceful resolution the current Syrian leadership will be able to hide in the areas populated by the Alawite on the border with Turkey and establish a new Alawite government there."

So far force scenarios against Syria are not officially discussed in the West. However, the decision to bomb Yugoslavia, Iraq or Libya, too, was not made overnight. In all cases first there were sanctions and numerous reports of human rights violations prepared by human rights defenders. The last paper of this kind was published by the International Independent Commission of Experts on human rights.

"A considerable amount of evidence collected by the Commission indicates that these egregious human rights violations were committed by Syrian military and security forces since the beginning of the protests in March of 2011," the committee members noted in their report. Its head Paulo Pinheiro argues that its members have established the facts of executions, arbitrary arrests, kidnappings, torture and sexual violence. Syrian security forces could have killed 3.5 thousand people. However, the committee members had not visited Syria.

However, even in the West not everyone believed another portion of data demonizing Bashar al-Assad. A French journalist and political analyst Thierry Meyssan who at some point expressed doubts about the official theory of terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001 in the United States, accused the authors of the report of forgery. He pointed out that the above information is based on the data from a human rights organization Observatoire syrien des Droits de l'homme (OSDH), whose office is located in London. He also indicated that many of those who enlisted as dead are actually alive.

Unlike the authors of the report, Meyssan traveled to Syria. According to him, there is much violence provoked by mercenaries from Iraq, Yemen, Pakistan, Afghanistan and Chechnya, and the Qatari television station "Al Jazeera broadcasts staged footage. "We have met with the survivors and saw mutilated bodies in morgues and hospitals. Most of the victims are military, not civilians, which once again suggests that this is not about political repression against the civilian population by the authorities", said Meyssan.

Strictly speaking, the opponents of the current Syrian government and the Western media that replicated their information have been often accused of fraud. 18-year- old Zainab Al-Hosni allegedly killed for the opposition activities of her brother "resurrected", saying that she just ran away from home. A blog allegedly written by some oppressed Syrian lesbian was created by a resident of Scotland.

But the Western media prefer to ignore their own faults and continue to attack the president of Syria. The British newspaper The Financial Times recently wrote that Arab countries have taken the unprecedented step of imposing sanctions against Syria, strengthening thereby the economic pressure on the regime of Bashar al-Assad. France Press echoed it saying that Human Rights Committee of the UN General Assembly adopted a resolution condemning bloody repression against demonstrators in Syria.

Turkish Weekly wrote that the conflict in Syria continues between the Assad regime and dissidents. While the situation is still gloomy, methods of suppression of popular unrest based on force increase the instability of Assad regime.

The clouds are gathering over Syria each day. LAS imposed economic sanctions on the country. Turkey threatens to cut off electricity and stop using Syrian territory for transit trade. The U.S. and the EU issue new threatening statements. The campaign of attacks on al-Assad in Western and Turkish media outlets has been ongoing for several months. Now the country has to deal with the mercenaries sent from Libya.

Turkey was the tool in hands of the western states repeatedly the past centuries. Turkish soldiers shed blood, the Turkish economy has been ruined by military taxes. But the Western countries, Britain, Germany, France, have never allowed Turkey to use fruits of its victories. Today the Western countries show behavior similar to their behavior in the last centuries. The West intends to get all heat to itself by Turkish hands. All problems connected with the Syrian conflict, will pursue Turkish citizens any decade. Turkey will lose incomes of tourism. Turkey will lose traditional commercial relations. Turkey will lose visibility of social well-being and economic stability. Flow of a considerable quantity of refugees, growth of criminality, a problem with the foodstuffs and water. The Turkish territory, most likely, will be subjected nuclear infection.

‘West’s policy on Syria could ignite WWIII’

Published: 02 December, 2011, 23:46

The situation in Syria is just a warm-up before a real confrontation, which will draw Russia and China into action, believes Lawrence Freeman from the Executive Intelligence Review magazine.

Russia and China are rightly worried about what is behind the policy of the US and its allies in Syria and Iran, Freeman told RT.

President Obama is acting on a British geopolitical plan to force a confrontation with Russia and China, a military confrontation of which Syrian and Iran would nearly be the ignition point,” Freeman explained. “But the real goal is a war to stop the progress that Russia and China are engulfed in.

Lawrence Freeman says that the International Criminal Court is being used as an instrument to carry out regime change with a smoke screen of human rights protection.

The Russians and the Chinese are seeing this played out again and they are beginning to respond,” he said. “Especially the Russians, they are responding militarily by sending the Kuznetsov aircraft carrier to the Syrian borders.

It is a risky game, Freeman admits, but he thinks that Russians are aware of the danger of what could happen if they do not do it.

This could result – and I think the Russians and the Chinese are aware of this – this could result in World War III,” he said. “So this is extremely dangerous, and measures have to be taken now to stop these policies by President Obama and the British.

Political analyst Marcus Papadopoulos agrees that Russia will not allow the situation in Syria to end up as it did in Libya.

The difference between Syria and Libya is the Russian factor,” he told RT. “Russia has made it very clear that what happened Libya will not happen in Syria and they’ve already vetoed a resolution at this Security Council, so of course there’s going to be a lot more talk by the UN of what can be done but I think the Russian factor will prove to be a critical one”.

He also voiced his opinion on how to resolve the present crisis.

What needs to happen is that the international community needs to act as a mediator between the Syrian government and the opposition parties,” he said. “And unfortunately it’s not helping – how the American, British and French governments are demonizing President Assad and they’re taking the side of the Syrian opposition.

Next War - Iran

05.12.2011

The Geopolitics of the times may indicate that the next war is Iran.   Although Pakistan being an established nuclear power would logically be higher on the scales of denuking agenda for so called globalists. Still Geopolitical logic dictates otherwise.

In Iran's case, the American agenda is to prevent it from going nuclear. (Something which Pakistan achieved over quarter of a century ago - Enriched Uranium) The recent IAEA accusative report, Israel's brinkmanship (you do it or we do it), American election fervour (attacking Iran is an election issue for 2012, at least for Mitt Romney Republican Presidential candidate), conservative Arab animosity for Revolutionary Iran (in future nuclear armed), Iran's energy linkage to Russia - China, Iran's defiance of USA plus western world, and finally the fear or perception of Tehran crossing the nuclear Rubicon combine for 'Strike on Iran'.

The most likely version is an air and missile strikes or campaign (depending how the war progresses). Still a limited invasion cannot be ruled out (US has freed most of its forces from Iraq for the purpose).

PM Benjamin Netanyahu, National security advisor Uzi Arad and Defence Minister Ehud Barak plus numerous Israeli leaders of late are cajoling for a strike on Iran. American friends have joined the Iran demonization campaign. For nearly a decade, this crying wolf - Iran going nuclear - or need to strike has been going on. This time it looks for real. The problem is both Israel and Iran are supremely confident and itching to fight.

In one scenario, Israeli air force (100 F15E, F16IS, F16cs), plus land based missiles (jhericos) and two Dolphin submarines (firing cruise missiles) off Iran's coast initiate the first blow. This may be a one - two blow i.e., missile strikes preceding or following the air strikes. Destroying as much as possible of Iranian nuclear projects (Natanz, Esfahan, Busher etc) with bombs and missiles. Tehran's retaliation with missiles plus Hezbollah, Hamas rockets are absorbed by Israel. Threatening to up the ante (Nuke Iran) Tel Aviv (evoking paranoia of a Second Holocaust) drags USA into the war, to use its larger military muscle. The Iranians fight back (Iran will respond with full force has already been said by Ayatollah Ali Khameni). Though the high intensity war may fizzle out in weeks or months, a low intensity war may continue for years. The Arab - Islamic world would be inflamed, the western world divided. War drags on - at least the asymmetrical part is protracted.

'The Point of No Return' an article by the Atlantic makes clear the high probability of war with Iran. The Israelis are evasive on even if they would inform Washington about such a strike. An Israeli strike appears imminent now or in spring 2012 (winter is not considered ideal for such operations).

In fact the initial strategic moves have been initiated on the Middle East Geopolitical Chessboard. NATO is planning to intervene to achieve regime change in Syria. This is aimed at depriving Iran of its chief ally Syria and somewhat suffocating the Geopolitical space available to Hezbollah and Hamas. After Syria and Iran's (claimed by US / NATO) isolation, the stage will be set for war on Iran initiated by Israel, US or jointly. Tehran's revolutionary fervour which engulfed the British Embassy and reports of Libyan (NATO trained) fighters being shipped to fight against the Damascus Regime and a lot more are indicators of the gathering Great Storm.

Despite an election year if USA strikes Iran, it would obviously be a heavier punch than Israel. More so, it may not be limited to Iran's nuclear establishment, but also aim at the Revolutionary Guards, military industrial - economic complex, ports, and communication infrastructure. In essence 'Cave Age or Scorched Earth'. According to David Rothkopf (author of Super Class), it would be folly to assume President Obama cannot strike Iran due to an election year. By the same token, many Americans and Europeans are against an attack on Iran.

The British are unsure, the French hesitant, Germans Anti aggression, the Russians (Putin led) against an attack, the Chinese peace loving, even India and Pakistan may have similar views - (no attack on Iran). The world yearns for peace, but the Israeli leaders are preparing (even if the Israeli nation is divided on the issue). Good Americans want jobs at home not conflict abroad - but the war lobby wants war.

Attack on Iran plans have been on hold since President Bush era. Now in 2012, US Presidential campaign 'most Republican Candidates' except Ron Paul are for 'bombing Iran'.

Interestingly America's ex defenders Mr. Robert Gates, Admiral Mike Mullen, General Zinni etc have serious reservations on the 'Persian Misadventure'. Even the present Defence Secretary Panetta (despite europhia of Bin Laden killing)'warned of unintended consequences!

Even more ironically the Israeli nation is divided by half on the subject. (After all the expected Iranian riposte of missiles, rockets and asymmetrical attacks is going to first of all target Israel). As a smart Israeli went to the extent of saying that if America was so worried about a 'Second Holocaust' it might fight Iran itself (without Israeli involvement). The Israeli Defence Forces even while confident are apprehensive and rightly so!

Still wise people in Europe, America and elsewhere are asking pertinent questions. A single Israeli Air strike will not be sufficient to totally destroy the Iranian nuclear projects, (delay it by 2 to 3 years), what next? If the US does not bomb Iran, what is the war termination strategy? Will it become a regional war by design or default? Will it escalate to nuclear realm?

What will be the impact on the Arab spring and Middle East? (Probably go hyper Anti Israel - Anti American!)

The reality is, there are no good answers. What if radioactivity due to Israel - US bombing reaches Nuclear Armed Pakistan and India? (Of course the Pakistani elite have no time for such issues. They are uninitiated into Pakistani Geopolitical issues, what to ponder about Iran?)

Unfortunately the fact is that an attack on Iran will adversely affect Pakistan in many ways. Pakistan will be surrounded by hostile India, unstable Afghanistan and warring Iran. Radioactivity leaks due to bombing may reach Pakistan! (Even handling Dengue Mosquitoes has been an uphill task). Inflame Shias, bring Iranian refugees, disrupt gas, oil import and bring Pakistan closer to the denuking agenda!

Reportedly the Russian PM Putin when recently briefed on emerging Geopolitics and probability of war told his generals, 'Prepare for Armageddon'!

Putin - a great visionary leader is absolutely right. US - NATO attack on Iran would unleash 'the hounds of hell' not only for the victim state but the region around, the world at large and the attackers themselves!

The only viable solution in Global interest is 'Geopolitics of Peace'. A comprehensive peace settlement from Mediterranean Sea to the Gulf to include Israel - Palestine, Israel - Iran issues. Plus pull out of all foreign troops from Afghanistan and Iraq. The need for denuking wars would stand obviated. The specter of hell on earth (for everybody) exorcised!

Nuclear war on the horizon

05.12.2011

It might be the lazy way, to just sit and accept the utter bilge and lies coming from the mainstream western media when they report on events in Syria and Iran. But is it worth it? Would those who accept these lies still think it's worth it, not to look for the truth, if they realize that we are heading straight for a third world war?

There comes a point in time, a point from which there is no return. Someone is going to get fed up and take that step, ignite that spark, that will lead to the beginning of another world war. This world is as close to world war as it was during the Cuban Missle Crisis.

Thirteen days in October 1962, the world looked on as Nikita Khrushchev and John Kennedy both, thankfully, tried to avoid a collision course that would set off a nuclear war between the two superpowers.

While conducting a spying mission on the Island of Cuba, the U2 aircraft discovered that missiles had been installed on the island to prevent the threat of any future invasion.

Kennedy decided to impose a naval blockade, or a ring of ships, around Cuba. The aim of this "quarantine," as he called it, was to prevent the Soviet Union from bringing in more military supplies. He demanded the removal of the missiles already there and the destruction of the sites.

On October 22, President Kennedy spoke to his countrymen about the crisis in a televised address. Eye to eye, furious communications later, finally an agreement was made and both sides were able to stand down.

The missiles in Cuba would be removed, as would those in Turkey, and a promise to leave Cuba alone...demanded by Khrushchev. Later, movement towards peace and cooperation included the establishment of a teletype "Hotline" between the Kremlin and the White House and the signing of the Limited Nuclear Test Ban Treaty on July 25, 1963.

Iran's military said on Sunday it had shot down a U.S. reconnaissance drone aircraft in eastern Iran, a military source told state television. What was this drone doing over Iranian territory?

A potential conflagration between the two superpowers is reaching frightening levels in the Mediterranean with vessels of both the US and Russia maneuvering into confrontational positions.

The United States and its European allies have run roughshod over international law, rendering it null and void. The bloody aggression and genocidal campaign against Libya were just a beginning of the end.

The Yugoslavia campaign of lies and false accusations was repeated once again, while rubber stamp robots incorporated, known as the UN, gave the coalition of barbaric savages their cover of legitimacy with UN Resolutions 1970 and 1973, which were also repeatedly run over, violated and trashed as they crept toward total war and invasion rather than the established no-fly zone and no boots on the ground.

Infamous were the lies about weapons of mass destruction in Iraq and no less ridiculous were the claims that the Gaddafi government was "killing its own people." Now they say the same about Syria and accuse Iran of trying to use nuclear energy to make nuclear weapons.

In a court of law, if the judge catches you lying even once, he will totally disregard your case because you were caught in a lie. All it takes is just one lie. You have destroyed your credibility totally and forever in his eyes.

If I find out you've lied to me once, from that time forward you will have to prove you're not lying again when you make claims, otherwise I have no reason to not think you are not just lying again.

So, too, any thinking person cannot take what the U.S. and Europeans say or claim as remotely even credible, along with their Israeli friends. In all cases, they have to prove they are not lying because all they ever do is lie.

It's more a case of these entities projecting their own evil intentions onto their marked, targeted victims.

So people out there, don't accept what they say at face value, not from PROVEN LIARS.

Iran, one of their next targets of choice, does not constitute a threat to global security, or a threat to the security of Israel. Iran hasn't done anything aggressive in over 250 years...and they have repeatedly allowed inspections beyond the call of reason and assured others that they have no intention of making nuclear weapons.

In Syria, so many lies already coming fast and furiously...inventing incidents that never happened. The people at the locations where several incidents were alleged to occur say no such thing ever happened.

Why is the west, as in the case of Libya, sending terrorists and weapons into Syria? Why are snipers shooting at unarmed civilians and at police/military?

They have declared they want Assad gone, just as they declared they wanted Gaddafi gone.

Who gives them the right? Let the people decide, and not a gang of terrorists and garbage faced airplanes dropping bombs on innocent civilians. Leave people alone.

The world community is getting fed up with this. China and Russia cannot be hoodwinked now into approving sanctions or approving military action.

The forces of demonic evil now have come nose to nose with the forces of reason. Ships from the U.S. and ships from Russia are now on the coast of Syria. Anything could happen.

Something will happen.

These two counties, China and Russia, also know they are on the list of targets.

You cannot on one hand have a fully armed, nuclear weapons possessing Israel and then tell Iran they cannot even use nuclear energy for peace...their right as signatories of the NPT, a treaty that Israel refuses to sign while also refusing any inspections.

Any one of a number of confrontations is going to start the next world war. These powerbroker elitists think they can escape the effects of a nuclear exchange...just shows how insane they are. They must be stopped and this warning must be taken seriously.

Either the citizens of the world demand these war pigs stand down, or face total global nuclear war. Demand that they stop the lies. Demand that they stop sending terrorists to disrupt the peaceful lives of your brothers and sisters.

Small Arab country slaps Russia in the face

06.12.2011

Russia's Foreign Ministry has lowered the level of diplomatic relations with Qatar. This became Moscow's response to the attack committed against Russia's Ambassador to Qatar, Vladimir Titorenko. The head of the Russian diplomatic mission was returning from his business trip to Jordan when he was attacked at Doha's International Airport. The official was attacked by the officers of customs and security services. The officers tried to withdraw diplomatic mail from the ambassador. Two other Russian diplomats, who were meeting Titorenko at the airport, also suffered in the incident.

On November 30, Russia's Foreign Ministry sent a note of protest to Qatar. The Russian officials demanded Qatar should apologize and punish the culprits. Qatar showed no reaction to the note. On December 4, Russia's Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov notified the Qatari administration about the decision to lower the level of diplomatic ties between the countries until Qatar fully meets the requirements of the Russian side. Sources at the Foreign Ministry of the Russian Federation said that Vladimir Titorenko would leave Qatar immediately after the course of medical treatment.

What caused the incident? The Russian ambassador stated afterwards that he would like to hope that the attack had not been planned in advance. He only hoped that it happened just because the airport employees did not know the international laws.

According to Titorenko, the conflict occurred after the Qatari officers decided to X-ray the Russian diplomatic mail. In accordance with regulations of the Vienna Convention, diplomatic correspondence is not supposed to be inspected or X-rayed. The Russian ambassador said that he had an additional permission from the Qatari Foreign Ministry to carry diplomatic documents without inspections.

Thus, the version about the "erroneous attack" does not withstand any criticism. It appears that the actions of the Qatari servicemen had been preliminary approved by authorities. At least, Qatar had five days to correct the mistake. It did not happen.

To put it in a nutshell, such a tiny country as Qatar may have masterminded such a blatant act as an attack against the head of the Russian diplomatic mission in the country. The tiny country attacks the world's largest.

It is not the first time, when Qatar demonstrates its anti-Russian stance. The Qatar-based Al-Jazeera TV channel broadcast fraudulent reports about the war in the Caucasus in 2008. Moreover, some terrorist leaders took shelter in Qatar after the second Chechen war. One of those Chechen terrorists, Zelimkhan Yandarbiev, was destroyed on the territory of Qatar.

It was said after the incident in Qatar that the anti-Russian action was directly connected with Russia's position on Syria. It was particularly said that the Qatari administration was unhappy about Russia's intention to defend Bashar Assad's regime.

Sergei Demidenko, a specialist for Arab countries, does not think that the incident at the airport could be purely incidental.

"I am not sure, though, that the attack against the Russian ambassador was caused with Russia's views on Syria. Indeed, the Qatari administration wants Assad to go, but beating up the Russian ambassador would not be a form of revenge. That would be ridiculous. Qatar has many other opportunities to get at Russia from this point of view.

"It would be much more interesting to take a look at the relations between Qatar and Russia during the recent ten years. Russia and Qatar are serious competitors in the gas industry. Several years ago, Qatari officials put forward a suggestion to establish the gas OPEC. Several years have passed, but the idea has not received any development. The relations with Russia were put to a standstill.

"The reason for that is the difference of the interests. Qatar was originally building its gas strategy on the sales of liquefied gas. Russia was paying first priority to pipeline gas. There was a period of time when the Russian gas was cheaper than that of Qatar. That was bad news for Qatar, because the country was going to expand its natural gas shipments. Not so long ago, Russia became Qatar's competitor in the field of liquefied gas too. We have already launched the production of liquefied gas in Sakhalin.

"This may only mean that the relations between Russia and Qatar have been worsening. The market of natural gas is not so broad as the oil market. For example, world's second gas power after Russia - Iran - has not entered the market properly. The Asian countries are not using their capacities in full either. When it happens, the competition in the field of natural gas will only get stronger," the expert said.

We would like to add here that according to Western analysts, Qatar's export of liquefied natural gas to Western Europe has grown 25.5 times during the recent eight years. Qatar can only expand its presence on the market in the future.

In this connection, Europe may finally loosen its dependence on the Russian fuel. It will not be possible for Russia to avoid competition with Qatar. It is quite possible that the incident with the Russian ambassador at the airport was only a sign of imminent changes in the relations with this tiny, but resources-rich nation.

A Nuclear Winter wonderland?

07.12.2011

by Jagdish Keshav

At the time of this writing, all indicators are pointing to an attack on Iran by the alliance of the US, Israel and the UK to curb its ambitions to go nuclear. Although Iran claims that nuclear energy they produce is for civilian use, the three powers mentioned, along with a host of others, are accusing the country of going nuclear for military purposes.

With the idea of a world domination stuck hard in their minds, the so-called Anglo-Saxon powers of the US, UK and France are on the prowl, looking for excuses to attack, invade and install puppet governments around the currently most susceptible regions that are in North Africa and the Middle East.

What other regions may be next on the list one may ponder! NATO, the armed wing of these imperialist powers sans Israel, are already putting missile shields around the great expanse of Russia in the pretext of defending Europe from sworn or rogue enemies like Iran and Syria. Iraq and Libya got eliminated from the list of rogues, in fact their societies got decimated and not just scratched off the list.

The US recently stationed around 3.500 Marines in Australia as a defensive measure. Is it to defend against China in the eventuality of something going wrong? Obviously yes! There can't be any other reason. Unless Australia and the US are afraid of the tribes from Papua New Guinea invading the Island.

By installing, occupying and invading the geographically important areas around the world, the important water-ways that help trade move will be in the control of the imperialist powers. This, if successful, will put a stranglehold on major powers and emerging powers like Russia, China or even India and Brazil. Then the eventual dependability will always remain with these imperialist powers and hence the intended control, as it was the reality during the colonial era.

It is apparent that the imperialist powers want to bring in a new form of colonialism wherever they can. So far they have tasted success in Iraq and Libya. Now the target is set on Iran and Syria.

But there is a danger in this move to attack or annihilate Iran or even Syria. Both are heavily armed nations, not in the sense of a conventional standing army or air force, but they are in possession of thousands of missiles.

An attack can bring retaliation and the launching of many a missile aimed at Israel. This, in turn, may force Israel to launch its deadly arsenal of nuclear missiles on Iran, thereby causing the total destruction of an ancient nation. Yes this scary scenario is very real according to the clock that is ticking towards a possible Armageddon.

What possible steps can stop this catastrophe from taking place? Trying some common sense or cajoling the powers to take it easy and give up their pursuit of world domination or asking Iran to stop and dismantle its nuclear program? Or asking Israel and Iran to shake hands and be friends?

Forget involving the other Arab nations such as Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar or Kuwait. They are insignificant in their own ways by being perfect stooges for the imperialist powers. They can't have any influence on anyone except to be the launching pads for the ex-colonialists whenever they want to enforce democracy from 30,000 feet.

With economic bankruptcy staring hard at their faces, the Europeans and the Americans (not the southern neighbours of the US), their mass media doing their part in mass misinformation of their audience, the hands of the poor imperialist powers seem to be tied in knots except to launch some military expedition to divert the minds of folks from the daily grind of suffering from unemployment, rising poverty in their backyards and falling standards of living, which at one time was the envy of the rest.

The imperialist powers know very well that if they launch expeditions to the North Pole, that won't divert the minds of people who are jobless or homeless or those involved with the Occupy Wall Street (OWS) movement. Hence devious minds are at it now.

The mighty corporations of the west own and run the Goebellian media and have the politicians in their deep pockets, who by their constituted powers turn the switch on the military industrial complexes in their respective countries to begin their attacks or invasions when needed. This is the basic working of a western 'democratic' country! This is the 1% that OWS is talking about and the world should be scared about.

Yes in the current scene this 1% may bring in a catastrophe to an area this world has not seen yet! Suppose there is a so-called selective strike on Iran by UKISUS. The expected retaliation and the deadly counter retaliation by Israel can most certainly bring, for the first time in human history, a winter called Nuclear-Winter to this area, a Wonder-Land where no living being dare live let alone tread!

The only hope is that countries like Russia and China station their military in these volatile areas of Iran or Syria to prevent any attack by UKISUS. The presence of these two militaries will deter these imperialist The presence of these two militaries will deter these imperialist powers fr om any adventure in the fear of starting the III World War!

Time is of extreme importance in this instance to stop a carnage that is bound to take a huge toll on human lives, both on the Semitic an the Indo-Aryan types. Ah I forgot the Snow-Leopard and the Desert-Fox, for they will be gone too!

Perhaps it is time for the UN to act now. Their first sensible action should be to move either to Tehran or Tel Aviv. Worst case scenario, they too will disappear with the Desert-Fox or the Snow-Leopard!

Chinese Navy ready for war

09.12.2011

China's neighbors are concerned about media reports citing the Chinese leader Hu Jintao, who allegedly ordered the PLA Navy's command to "prepare for a war." According to him, in the coming years the Navy should "complete its modernization, gather all the forces to prepare for a war and strengthen national security." This was said at a meeting of the top military and political leadership of the country on December 6.

For China famous for its wise and prudent policy this is, mildly put, rather strange. However, as pointed out by foreign experts, the statement of the leader of China was reprinted by many Chinese newspapers. However, there is a possibility that journalists made a mistake in the translation. British analysts say that the statement of the Chinese leader can be translated from Chinese both as "armed struggle" or "military conflict", but the essence does not change much.

It is significant that in recent years militaristic ambitions of China increasingly surprised not only its neighbors with most of whom it has unresolved territorial disputes, but the United States as well.

Also read: China does not need Russian arms anymore to attack US

This year, China began its program to build aircraft carriers and is actively working to develop new anti-ship missiles and modernize its Navy. The statement of the Chinese leadership was made on the eve of the annual summit of China and United States, where the parties discussed a solution to the dispute over the archipelago Spratlys in the South China Sea.

In other words, Beijing is openly showing the United States that it intends to address this issue in its own favor. Earlier the Chinese side claimed that the Spratly archipelago (contested, besides China, by Vietnam, the Philippines, Malaysia, Brunei and Taiwan) is an integral part of China. The latter is understandable: first, the major transportation routes from the Indian Ocean to the Pacific run through the South China Sea, and second, large reserves of oil and gas are prospected in the area.

For the growing China the issue of resources is key. However, the abundance of competitors supported by the United States hinders the implementation of the Chinese ambitions for the Spratly archipelago.

The most difficult relations in regard with this issue are between Beijing, the Philippines and Vietnam. Chinese ambitions alarmed Indonesia that begins to develop a major gas field offshore in the vicinity of the disputed islands. Experts point out that the development affects the zone claimed by the Chinese.

The United States that is trying to build a new block of counties that would "restrain the Chinese dragon" is particularly concerned. It is no accident that in November President Obama has made a dramatic expansion of U.S. military presence in Australia, considering it an important base for the subsequent deployment of troops aimed against China.

Also read: Pentagon wants to slay Chinese dragon

However, China provided its response to such deterrence efforts of the U.S via President Hu Jintao's statement. Will China be gutsy enough to challenge the United States and its satellites? Konstantin Sivkov, Captain of the 1st Rank, the first vice-president of the Academy of Geopolitical Issues, answered this question for "Pravda.Ru":

"At the moment, in terms of the power of the Navy, China is far behind the United States. For example, it has only one aircraft carrier, while the Americans have 12 active nuclear aircraft carriers alone. Nuclear-powered submarines that China has are too noisy and noticeable for the American systems, and the radius of their ballistic missiles is only 1,700 kilometers, which is clearly insufficient to provide an adequate response.

However, in the next 10 years such imbalance will be reduced significantly. First, the Chinese are preparing to launch several nuclear aircraft carriers. Second, they are qualitatively and quantitatively increasing its nuclear submarine fleet. The existing noisy submarines will be replaced with new nuclear submarines that will be difficult for the Americans to track. In addition, their armament will strengthen significantly.

Now the Chinese are actively working towards creating a new sea-based ballistic missile with a range of eight thousand kilometers, which would dramatically reduce the chances of Americans for a favorable outcome in a possible collision.

Third, the Chinese are preparing to dramatically increase the number of other warships, including destroyers and frigates. All these are not empty promises, and every year it will be increasingly more difficult for the Americans to contain China.

This is a very positive sign for us. China relies on the development of its own Navy, not the Army, which clearly indicates that its expansion in the short and medium term will be extended to the north. However, it is not surprising as it is vital for China to ensure it receives raw materials. It buys oil and gas from Russia at affordable prices.

Yet, this is not enough, considering the growth of its economy. In this regard it is developing its Navy, which will enable China to defend vitally important interests in different parts of the globe. If today it had to "swallow" the fact that it was virtually forced out of Libya, tomorrow, gaining the necessary power, it will stand up for its rights and will have to be reckoned with."

Syrian man with camera gets shot by US sniper squad on the ground

Posted on December 10, 2011 by ozyism

These terrorists are trained in Turkey and Lebanon to not only kill civilians but also Syrian Security Forces, the main goal is to weaken Syrian defense and weaken Syria as a nation which will make the injection of a puppet regime easier. The US has a history of such deceptive and murderous behavior, US has used death squads in many nations around the world to divide and conquer. Syria is just the next target, the propaganda is intensifying, expect more outrageous claims, even more outrageous than the Viagra they put on the table in case of Libya.

US history of death squads

Let's not close our eyes, let's not forget US history and let's not forget the evidence.

Are we heading towards World War Three?

13.12.2011

With nuclear missile technology what it is today, the next war could very well be the world's last. As it becomes clear that the Pentagon/NATO is intrinsically linked to the AIPAC/State Department axis, as it becomes clear that the USA and its allies have long since ceased to follow the law, it would appear that we are sliding towards disaster.

The tell-tale signs are all there. The former status quo which was achieved by a Soviet Bloc able and willing to counteract the more aggressive and belligerent tendencies of those who had been imperialist powers and their allies, gaining riches as they held populations down under the yoke of colonialism, stealing their riches and committing massacres as they civilised the planet with the Bible and the Bullet approach to international relations, disappeared at the beginning of the 1990s.

For once and for all, let us get the story straight. The Soviet Union did not "collapse", it dissolved voluntarily, as catered for in its constitution because a new political, economic and social cycle had begun with different players and vectors and those in Government considered that the old model had succeeded in achieving what it set out to do, namely bring medieval societies into the front line of social, industrial and economic development, providing excellent public services free of charge.

However, a major consequence of this dissolution was the vacuum in international relations caused by the absence of the counterweight against the sinister plans of Washington and her NATO allies, which are only too plain to see. Before the decade was up, in 1998, we had Afghanistan's Mullah Omar being approached with a bribe to set up a pipeline across his country from Central Asia to Pakistan and the game was then on.

The flashpoint was 9/11 and with the Bush regime in place, the game swung into action. Afghanistan was invaded in retaliation, although the link between Kabul and Kandahar and the Twin Towers has yet to be proven, and we now discover that Afghanistan itself is rich in mineral resources, apart from presenting a strategic bridge deep into Central Asia together with a billionaire drugs trade in heroin production and smuggling.

World War Three is not about containing hegemonic ideals, it is not about defeating ideology. This time around, it is based upon greed, the desire to control the world's resources and it therefore comes as no surprise that all the pieces of the puzzle are centred around the epicentre of these resources - the Middle East and Central Asia, removing those powers who would constitute a block. It began after Kosovo, a test of forces, an arm-wrestling contest to see which side would blink first while under the table empty promises were traded, as they have been all along.

It continued with Iraq, invaded illegally and virtually destroyed in the most blatant disregard for international law the world had seen, before Libya confirmed what is going on. It has nothing to do with freedom and democracy, if so then why did NATO refuse to allow the Libyan Arab Jamahiriya to hold a democratic election for the people to choose between the NATO/NTC Terrorists and the Jamahiriya Government?

It has already begun in Iran, with cyber terrorist attacks against Iran's nuclear power capacity, with violations of Iran's airspace and with terrorist attacks inside the country aimed at Revolutionary Guard Officers, military centres and equipment. And for those who doubt who lies at the end of the railway line, the deployment of a part of the Missile Defence System in Turkey will cover a large swathe of the Russian Federation. Remember Washington's hysteria during the Cuban Missile Crisis?

What the West (USA/NATO) is capable of, we have seen very clearly. What we have not seen yet is what exists to counter this Axis of Evil.

Washington's position, smiling to the face yet wielding a knife behind the back, runs counter to the goodwill demonstrated by the Russian Federation when the Cold War ended and when political discourse centred on what the two former foes had in common, rather than differences. How is it possible to have anything in common with a back-stabbing, warmongering murderous group of criminals whose intention is to control the world's resources and whose modus operandi is closer to skulduggery through Colour Revolutions than it is to the norms of diplomacy?

The recent intrusion into the internal affairs of the Russian Federation, funding activists to create problems after the recent Parliamentary election (DUMA) and the insolence and arrogance demonstrated by Washington's Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, leave it perfectly clear as to the measure of the monster we are facing.

There are, nevertheless, two powerful vectors working against Washington, vectors it has not yet begun to understand. One is the military might of the CSTO and SCO Organizations, covering the Russian Federation, the PR China and Central Asia, essentially defensive organizations, the former of which Iran could join as the first non-(ex) Soviet member.

The other is the collective willpower of humankind which is very much more in tandem with Moscow these days than with Washington, more and more exposed and isolated as a hypocrite and a pariah of the international community, associated more with torture and sodomy than with freedom and democracy, synonymous with massacres and intrusion, arrogance, belligerence, blackmail and bullying rather than with diplomacy, discussion and dialogue.

Moscow stands for the rule of law, Washington stands for breaching it. Moscow stands for world peace and brotherly relations, Washington stands for hegemony at any cost. It is imperative that the members of the world community stand together, close ranks and appeal to those inside the United States of America who stand for collective human values to make sure their leadership, apparently as near to a sinister clique of Satanists and Devil worshippers as it gets, do not manage to bring Armageddon down to Earth.

In the forthcoming election in the USA, the people have a choice to vet out those who pose a direct threat to the future of humankind by bringing foreign policy and clear commitments towards this, into the political agenda. One thing is certain: Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton are not fit to serve. They are a danger to their country, they are a danger to humankind.

Putin praises political events in Russia and mocks McCain

up_immagini/putin.jpg

15.12.2011

Vladimir Putin took part in his tenth question-and-answer session in Moscow on December 15. This year, Putin appeared in the program as the sitting Prime Minister and as a presidential candidate. The host of the program said that the recent two weeks had been rich with political events in Russia. Putin praised the participants of the meetings for fair and free elections.

The first question to the prime minister was about the elections to the State Duma of December 4 and the mass meeting of protest on Bolotnaya Square.

"The fact that people express their point of view is absolutely normal as long as everyone acts within the framework of the law," he said. He said that he was glad to see young people expressing their active political positions. "I am glad to see that. If it is a result of the "Putin regime" then it's good, I don't see anything extraordinary about it," he said.

The results of the elections obviously reflect the things that have been happening in the country recently, he said. Opposition will always point out unfairness in all elections. It is a question of political culture in which form they do it, the prime minister said. The primary goal is the presidential election, so one should minimize the opportunity of pointing out what kind of elections they will be - fair or not.

Putin put forward a suggestion to install webcams on all poll stations of the country. In this case, he said, the whole country would see what will be happening near each and every urn. This would also put an end to any questions about falsifications.

Putin spoke a lot about the achievements, which have taken place in Russia since 2000. According to him, progress can be seen in practically every sphere. As for the social sphere, 29 percent of the Russian population was living below the poverty line in 2000. Nowadays, the index has dropped to 12 percent. The real income of the population has been growing too, whereas Russia has been improving its position and image on the international arena.

Russia overcame the crisis owing to the economic potential of the country, he said. The economic growth of the Russian Federation makes up 4.2 percent, whereas in Europe it is a bit more than one percent and "zero" in the United States. As for the inflation rate, it was measured on the level of 30 percent in 2000. The current inflation rate is on a record low level, he said - a bit more than 6%.

In general, the economic situation in Russia is "healthy," Putin said. The unemployment level in the country has decreased below the pre-crisis level. As for the debt, Russia's public debt is only 2.5 percent, which is "nearly nothing," Putin said.

Speaking about the goals of the future, the prime minister said that one would need to strengthen the political system in Russia. The system must be self-sufficient, stable and secure from "impostors from the outside."

Answering the question about the future political career of Russia's former Finance Minister Aleksei Kudrin (Kudrin was fired by President Medvedev), Putin said that Kudrin was a close friend of his. "I am proud that I had such a man working in my government," he said. He has been recognized the world's best economist twice, Putin added.

Putin was then asked to comment the statements from US Senator John McCain, who said that the death of Libyan dictator Muammar Gaddafi should make other "dictators" like Putin nervous. Putin said that those threats were aimed against Russia on the whole rather than against him in person. "Some people want to push Russia aside so that they wouldn't be bothered. They don't want Russia to bother their reign on the globe," he said.

Having recollected the terrifying footage and photos of Gaddafi's death, Putin reminded of the circumstances of his murder. According to Putin, the Libyan leader had been killed by US drones and foreign special forces. "Is this democracy?" he wondered.

Putin also recollected several episodes of McCain's biography, who waged war in Vietnam. Apparently, "he got used to such methods," he said.

"It is not a secret that McCain took part in the U.S.-Vietnamese war...he's got enough blood of peaceful civilians on his hands. He probably...can not live without these disgusting scenes of Gaddafi's murder when all the world's channels broadcast how he was killed." [...] "It's well known that Mr McCain was captured in Vietnam and was locked not just in prison but in a hole, where he was imprisoned for several years. Any person would have bats in the belfry after that," Putin said.

The audience burst out laughing.

During the televised conference, Putin was asked to comment news reports, which said that the Kremlin supposedly conducted urgent secret sessions after the protest actions in Russia, which followed the elections to the State Duma.

"I was not summoned to those sessions, I don't know," Putin said smiling.

He continued with saying that he was trying to learn how to play hockey during that time. Hockey has become Putin's favorite hobby during the recent several months. However, Putin compared himself to "a cow on ice that was trying to do something."

A woman asked Putin a question on the phone. The woman wanted to know Putin's opinion about billionaire Mikhail Prokhorov's decision to run for presidency.

"I know that Mr. Prokhorov attempted to establish a political party, which we refer to as a rightist party in our lexicon. However, some problems emerged later. Mr. Prokhorov is a successive man, he doesn't give up. As far as I can get, he decided to use a new platform to promote the ideas which he considers appropriate for our country. He works within the framework of the law and Constitution. I wouldn't say that I wish him luck, because I am going to nominate my candidate too, but I am sure that he will be a strong rival," Putin said.

Facebook Shuts Down Syrian TV Page after Uploading Video Showing ABC's Manipulation of Interview with President al-Assad

Dec 10, 2011

DAMASCUS, (SANA) – In an attempt to suppress the truth and in violation of the Syrians' right to self expression, Facebook adminsitraiton on Friday shut down the official page of the Syrian TV.

This step was taken after a video of a press conference by Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ministry Spokesman Jihad Makdessi was uploaded on the page. The conference showed how the US TV channel ABC manipulated the content of their interview with President Bashar al-Assad and distorted it through editing and omission.

In response to this, Syrians on Facebook started a new page dedicated to the Syrian TV.

Fort Hood deployments continue

Posted On: Monday, Nov. 14 2011 11:40 PM

Ceremony underscores
air defense units' skills
are in demand overseas

By Rose L. Thayer

Killeen Daily Herald

FORT HOOD — Despite the drawdown of U.S. troops from Iraq and Afghanistan, the Army's air defense assets will get little reprieve from deployments due to their unique skill sets, a deploying lieutenant colonel said Monday.

"Despite the fact that the rest of the Army is in a drawdown, the air defense community is becoming a lot busier," Lt. Col. William J. McKnight, commander of the 4th Battalion, 5th Air Defense Artillery Regiment, 69th Air Defense Artillery Brigade, said at the West Fort Hood gym during a deployment ceremony. "The dynamics are changing."

The battalion left Monday for a deployment to Southwest Asia. Its exact

destination and location are unclear, but McKnight said his soldiers will defend strategic assets from possible threats originating from state and non-state actors.

During the ceremony at West Fort Hood, colors were cased and about 400 soldiers left for a yearlong deployment to various locations in the region. They will replace another battalion from within the brigade — 1st Battalion, 44th Air Defense Artillery Regiment, which will return to Fort Hood later this month.

Command Sgt. Maj. Gary Coleman said soldiers prepared for deployment by training in core competency skills, as well as basic soldier skills and gunnery certification.

"They are ready," he said. "They are motivated, trained and well equipped."

Ready or not, saying goodbye wasn't easy for soldiers or family members.

"We've just tried to spend as much time together as possible," unit spouse Christina Williams said about preparing for the deployment.

As a surprise, Williams hosted a Thanksgiving meal on Saturday and invited all of her husband's friends over to eat.

"It was really good," Sgt. Paul Williams said, while holding his 5-month-old daughter. "It was good hanging with family and friends before I go — and getting to enjoy the turkey and dressing."

Single soldier Spc. Scott Morris said he wanted a final stateside meal of McDonald's and homemade brownies, which members of his religious group, the pagan Fort Hood Open Circle, were more than happy to provide.

"I'm a veteran, so it's very important for us to support the soldiers we know," said Laura C. Plautz, who "adopted" Morris for the duration of his deployment. She said she plans to send him care packages and offer support whenever needed.

"When I was a soldier, there weren't a whole lot of people looking out for me," said Plautz. "It's important to make friends and find some people that actually care about you."

Russia exposes true colors of the West

30.12.2011

For the first time in many years, Russia's Foreign Ministry published an extensive report about the state of affairs in the field of human rights in the United States of America, Canada, EU, NATO members and Georgia. The report from the ministry also touched upon Libya, where NATO's incursion has led to the bloody change of power. The document is not flawless. However, it clearly shows that democracy in the West is not as perfect as it is painted.

For a long time the monopoly on the publication of such reports belonged to the United States. The Americans tend to present certain countries as outcasts. Year after year Russia is highlighted in the reports of the State Department. According to them, Russia has issues with the elections, freedom of speech and religious minorities. Something similar is published by the European Union. At one time, Chinese Foreign Ministry published a report on human rights in the United States.

Russian foreign policy was clearly defensive. Russia always had to justify itself, responding to attacks from the West. And then, finally, Russia published a nearly 100-page document describing human rights violations in the United States, Canada, EU and NATO, as well as allied Georgia. The actions of the West during the war in Libya have not been overlooked in the report either. Each region is assigned a separate section.

The largest section is devoted to the U.S. - the country which has declared itself "the standard of democracy." "The situation there is far from the ideals proclaimed by Washington. The main unresolved issue is an odious prison at Guantanamo Bay ... President Obama has legalized indefinite terms without trial... The current administration continues to use most of the methods of social control and interference with the privacy of Americans," the document says.

"There are continued violations of international humanitarian law in armed conflict and during anti-terrorist operations. Chronic systemic problems in the American society are getting more acute, including racial discrimination, xenophobia, overcrowding in jails, unreasonable use of the death penalty ... The U.S. has one of the weakest in the West security systems for workers' rights for Collective Bargaining", stated Russian diplomats.

"The extraterritorial application of the American law does the greatest harm in terms of US-Russian relations. It leads to a violation of fundamental rights and freedoms of Russian citizens, including arbitrary arrests and abductions from third countries (the most obvious examples are the cases of Viktor Bout and K. Yaroshenko)," says the report. The authors also note "a very acute problem of violence against adopted children from Russia in American families."

Further the report lists such things as violation of the rights of prisoners in CIA prisons, the problems with freedom of expression and harassment of employees and the founder of the website WikiLeaks, the death of at least 111,000 Iraqis and 14 thousands of Afghans in the wars unleashed by the United States. There is racial discrimination of blacks and Hispanics, and religious discrimination against American Muslims.

Not everything is well in the U.S. with human rights, freedom of speech and racism, and especially with the wars. Of course, one can parry that in Russia the labor laws are less than perfect, and there are problems with the media, and national relationships are not perfect as well. However, Russia is not instructing the world how to live, and does not throw bombs on other countries. The presence of problems in Russia does not change the fact that the U.S. is far from ideal.

With regard to the European Union, the Russian Foreign Ministry has supported human rights criticism from Human Rights Watch on the rights of immigrants from Asia and Africa and the anti-Muslim rhetoric. "The main conclusion is the overall growth of xenophobia and intolerance in the EU, promotion of far-right rhetoric ... European governments do not try to fight it, but, rather, vice versa, use the trend in domestic purposes," the Russian diplomats said.

"According to the AOHR (EU Agency for Fundamental Human Rights - Ed.) in 2009 more than any others the following nationalities were discriminated at work: North Africans in Italy (30 percent), Roma in Greece (29 percent), Roma in the Czech Republic (27 percent), Africans in Malta (27 percent), Africans in Ireland (26 percent), Roma in Hungary (25 percent), Brazilians in Portugal (24 percent), Turks in Denmark (22 percent), Roma in Poland (22 percent)," the report says.

It is important that Russia described the problem that the EU remained silent about for years. They say that they do not have problems with the Muslims or Roma. They do have them, however, and last year they demonstrated it by the shooting in Norway or the influx of refugees from North Africa. Yet, there is another side to the issue: can Muslims or blacks demand the same rights as the indigenous people? Can they pointedly ignore laws and customs accepted in Europe? Would Roma themselves be willing to adapt to a normal society? Therefore, complaints to the authorities of European countries are still excessive.

Sections on Germany, France, Britain and Sweden, report on the growth of xenophobia and the issues of Muslims. Swedes, among other things, are accused of supporting the Chechen rebels. Finland is also mentioned in connection with the endless stories about taking children away from Russian mothers. In the case of Hungary there is a mention of an attempt to revise the results of the Second World War. Poland, Bulgaria and Romania "only" suffer from inadequate legislation.

A separate section is devoted to the Baltic. "The discriminatory policy of the authorities of the Baltic states against the Russian minority living there remains nearly unchanged. Of particular concern is the unresolved problem of mass statelessness in Latvia (nearly 330 thousand "aliens") and Estonia (nearly 100 thousand "aliens") and consequent violation of the rights of Russian-speaking minorities in these countries," stated the Russian Foreign Ministry.

"Reduction of the Russian-language news and cultural and educational space, as well as the persecution of World War II veterans and law enforcement agencies of the former USSR is also observed in Lithuania. Of particular concern is the continuation of the trend to rewrite the history of the Second World War Baltic states," Russian diplomat said.

Problems in Georgia were very clearly outlined in the report. There are a lot of cases when Russian citizens (including ethnic Georgians) fell victims of provocations of local security forces. Attention is drawn to the dispersal of the protests. Particularly highlighted is the largest violation of the rights of national minorities of the country - the Armenian and Azerbaijani.

"Armenian-populated region of Samtskhe-Javakheti (in Armenian Javakheti) is in dire socio-economic situation ... Administrative positions in local government are occupied predominantly by Georgian. The Georgian authorities have deliberately carried out a discriminatory policy against Azerbaijanis. Resettlement of Azerbaijanis in neighboring Azerbaijan is becoming mass in nature," the Russian diplomats stated.

The next section of the report is on Canada. The country was berated for the brutality against the demonstrators, for the oppression of Indians and Eskimos, and lack of security of Canadian citizens abroad. However, there is not a single word in the report about endless military exercises in the Arctic and threats of Canadian authorities to Russia.

The last section is devoted to NATO operations in Libya. "NATO leaders officially deny the facts of civilian deaths as a result of air strikes by coalition forces, indirect victims, which was the reason for the blockade of the western regions of Libya, the destruction of civilian infrastructure," the diplomat said.

Then follows a list of deaths of civilians from NATO attacks and atrocities of Western-backed rebels. The highlights are "extrajudicial execution of the representatives of the former regime and its supporters with the tacit consent of NATO members," numerous cases of "crimes of the former Libyan armed opposition."

The document is not without drawbacks. Thus, it has no foreword or conclusion. Sections on the United States, the Baltic States, Georgia, Libya, and the largest countries in Europe are very detailed. However, the sections of the smaller European countries, as well as the entire EU and Canada raise questions and seem to be rather "raw". The publication of the report seems untimely. During Christmas and New Year holidays even the politicians are not particularly into policy.

However, the first attempt was pretty good. Russia has shown that it will not always have to justify its behavior after publication of the American and European reports. It can provide pre-emptive strikes in its foreign policy. Hopefully, such reports from the Foreign Ministry of Russia will become commonplace and improve with time.

New member of the International nuclear club

Iran became the full member of the International nuclear club. The Iranian army has spent some successful tests of the ballistic missiles, capable to overcome air defense and to deliver a nuclear warhead.   The Iranian scientists have reached success in manufacture of a nuclear stuffing of ballistic missiles.

The United States of America and Israel promoted creation of the Iranian nuclear weapon by threats of application of the nuclear weapon and aggression against Iran.

Any country of the world should have the weapon capable to resist to aggression under the Libyan scenario. Any country of the world can have the nuclear and thermal weapon as there is a real threat of neocolonial intrusion for the purpose of democratization and a robbery of any country by the NATO.

Iran missile tests: Back off!

The Islamic Republic of Iran has completed ten days of military exercises in the Gulf with the successful testing for the first time of the Ghader Missile, which has a range of 200 kilometers after a medium-range surface-to-air missile was launched on Sunday January 1. As the western clique of terrorist states rattles its sabres, the message from Teheran rings out loud and clear: **ck off!

Back off! Is the message ringing clearly from Teheran as the FUKUS nations (France, US and UK) rattle their sabres and make bellicose insinuations after the world's most blatant example of terrorism in Libya, a conflict as yet far from over although the western media have gone quiet and as Libya's more violent terrorists have been shipped to the Syrian front.

The Iranian military exercises are significant, since the Ghader missile can be used with a nuclear warhead, has a range of 200 km. and can be a surface-to-air or surface-to-water missile to be used against marine targets. Furthermore, its sophisticated navigation system makes it undetectable to all types of radar. It is an Iranian-designed and mass-produced missile which was delivered last week to the Naval Forces of the IR Iran, the Islamic Republican Guard (IRGC) and the Ministry of Defense.

The delivery of this missile in large numbers spells a timely message to the US Naval Forces in the area, because the mass deployment of this equipment would render the Gulf an underwater scrap yard and would see thousands more US families mourning their sons and daughters in foreign ventures which have nothing whatsoever to do with the United States of America. Maybe if the USA would oblige, and move its ships into the Straight of Hormuz and then launch an attack, then the USA itself could close the Straight, where up to 20% of the world's oil passes, with its own junk.

The West's insolence on Iran and its nuclear programme is unparalleled: it is not illegal for a country to develop nuclear energy for peaceful means, reducing reliance upon oil and anyway, where is the discussion about Israel's nuclear arsenal? If Israel can sit on up to 100 nuclear warheads, then why the Hell can't Iran?
